WE ARE WOKING ON DATES AND WILL HAVE THEM UP AS SOON AS WE CAN!
Complete a 250 yard pool swim, 10 mile road bike, and 2 mile run and you are a Girl Gone Tri! These are great races for ladies looking to jump into triathlon and are perfect for those looking to refine their race skills and test their level of fitness.
The races start and finish at the Bluffton, SC pool which is located at 55 Pritchard Street, Bluffton, SC 29910.
Races start at 8:00 a.m.
THE SWIM: The swim is a 250 yard pool swim. The pool depth is 5' max so non-swimmers or those who question their swim fitness can participate! Racers leave the pool side from an in - water start so no diving or jumping in is necessary. Racers go off in 10 second intervals with the fastest going first. As part of registration, each swimmer will provide a time in which they feel that they can do a 250 yard swim so the swim is self-seeded. For example, if a racer believes that they can swim 250 yards in 3 minutes, she will include that as part of her registration. She will then be seeded for the swim based on where a 3 minute swim would fall compared to the other estimated swim times. In estimating a swim time, please keep in mind that there will be others in the water with you and that you have to cross under lane lines while swimming. The pool length in 25 yards. The swim is 10 lengths...up and back in a lane.

There will be intersections that are crossed where cyclist will have to watch for traffic merging! There are no aid stations on the bike so begin with a full water bottle!
